Eek designs (and manufactures) furniture, lighting and accessories and he is also involved in the design of buildings. Recently he also immersed himself in architecture and the re-use of buildings.

Since 2010, the company of Piet Hein Eek has moved from Geldrop to Eindhoven. The company is located in a former Philips factory in the district of Strijp-R. The building has an area of 11,000 m2 with an office, a factory, a shop, a showroom, an art gallery, an event space and a restaurant.

In September 2015, it became known that Eek would design products such as furniture, lamps, vases, cutlery and other utensils for IKEA. His guiding principle will be: “mass products … that do not feel like mass products”.
